Take Your E-Waste to a Better Place

CIRKUS JUGGLES E-WASTE TO MAKE THE WORLD AND VICTORIA STATE A BETTER PLACE.

Icon Agency and Sustainability Victoria commissioned Cirkus to visualise how recycling electronic waste can make the world a better place.
Icon’s creative team of Ed Bechervaise and Rod Clausen wrote several call-to-action scripts highlighting the many e-waste items belonging to Victorians, which from July 1st 2019 will need to be recycled rather than tossed into landfill. The creative called for looking beyond what we see to discover what can be used at nanoscale.
Juggler Christian Greet and the Cirkus team created a hero family and shrunk the kids (and parents) for a grand, eye-popping spectacle. The family journeys through a truly epic E-Waste environment that showcases a better future, where our good stuff is recycled and bad stuff is disposed of appropriately.
We then repurposed the master film to create shorter 30”, 20” and 6” spots, going across online, TV and cinema, as well as a print campaign.
Phase 1 of the campaign has now been launched to give Victorians a heads up on what’s to come, with Phases 2 and 3 of the campaign rolling out in 2019.
