It’s Okay to Reach Out – A Comforting Thought in Singapore Mental Health Campaign
Worry, stress, and sadness in the form of furry creatures.
Cirkus worked with award-winning film production house Freeflow Productions & advertising agency, Prodigious Singapore to produce this touching campaign for mental health awareness that combines live action with 3D animation.
The campaign – live-action directed by Peggy Goh – features three scenes and people plagued by different mental afflictions. The older man is overwhelmed by sadness (personified into a green creature), the female worker is feeling worried (blue creature), and the boy is haunted by stress (purple creature). As they learn to reach out for help, these creatures cower away, overpowered by the courage of these people.
Cirkus created these creatures in 3D, with the added fur simulations for more realistic renditions of these beings. It was rendered and composited unto the live action plates by the Cirkus team.
We may feel worried, stressed and sad at times. And when we do, it’s OKAY to reach out to our family, close friends, or even to a healthcare professional for support. Because we’re not alone. #itsokaytoreachout
